Privacy Policy for TV Parser
Effective Date: June 3, 2026
At TV Parser, we are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we handle information in our mobile and TV application, TV Parser (the "App"), and on our website TVParser.com.
1. Information We Process & How It Is Used
TV Parser is a local client-side media player and organization tool. The App processes information purely to facilitate streaming from your chosen third-party providers:
- Authentication Credentials: When you log in with your provider credentials (Username, Password, and Server URL), these details are stored locally on your device and sent directly to your provider to authenticate your subscription. We do not transmit or store these credentials on our own servers.
- Local Preferences & Settings: Your configurations, favorites list, watch history, and cache settings are saved locally on your device to personalize your app experience.
- Network & Quality Diagnostics: If you run the in-app connection diagnostic tool, the App performs latency and connection tests against public DNS hosts and your dynamically configured provider URL. This information is used locally to display network statistics and is not shared.
- Approximate Location/Locale: Approximate locale or regional settings (such as timezones) are processed on-device only if enabled, to ensure the Electronic Program Guide (EPG) aligns with your local time.
- No Sale of User Data: We do not collect, monetize, sell, or rent your personal data to any third parties.
2. Content Disclaimer
TV Parser is a neutral media player. The App and the website do not host, provide, include, or sell any media content, TV channels, or video streams. All content displayed inside the App is loaded directly from your own third-party IPTV provider.
3. Third-Party Services
Since all media playback is streamed directly from your third-party IPTV provider, your streaming traffic is subject to your provider's privacy policy and network terms. Website payments are securely handled by Stripe, and we do not store raw card numbers on our servers.
4. Security of Data
We use secure local storage mechanisms (e.g., encrypted or isolated application storage) on Android, Google TV, and iOS to safeguard your saved credentials on-device.
